What is the Speaker's Bureau? The Speaker's Bureau is a PRIDE provided service in which a panel of GLBTQA students talk to classes about their experiences of coming out and then open the floor to a Q&A discussion. This dialogue is often very enlightening for all individuals involved. It is an opportunity for students to discuss certain taboo issues and ask questions that otherwise would be left unsaid in a safe atmosphere.

Who can join the Speaker's Bureau? Anyone willing to speak to classes about their experiences in the GLBTQA communitie can become a panelist.

How do I get a panel to come to my class? If you are a student, then suggest it to your teacher. Let her or him know that you think this would be a beneficial addition to your class curriculum. How do I get a panel to come to my event? Speaker's Burea Panelists are available to attend other events as well. These include Floor Events for RAs and other diversity events where a GLBTQA concern is present.
